The World’s Tallest Building – The Burj Khalifa

Earlier this year we learned about Structures in Science. The video below contains time-lapse photography of two architectural wonders in the city of Dubai. The world’s most luxurious hotel the Burj Al Arab and the Burj Khalifa, which at 828 metres and 160 floors is presently the tallest building in the world. Excavation began in 2004 and it took 1,325 days to complete.

  1. wow those pitures are relly nice with all the lights. Those billdings are relly big down below but the burj khalifa is just so tall.

  2. Great comment, Nick. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. I think it’s neat that you realized that the buildings down below are actually quite tall, but when compared to the height of the Burj Khalifa they look so small. It won’t be long until they build an even taller building, but for now the Burj Khalifa is the tallest.
