The space shuttle Endeavour completed 25 missions into space andĀ orbited the Earth 4,671 times. The time-lapse video below shows the final journey of the Endeavour to it’s new home in Inglewood, California. A really amazing video and worth two minutes and fourty four seconds of your time.
How do they fit the space shuttle on the roads?
Hi Spencer,
Great question. In the video they closed the streets in both directions and had to lift the power lines for the ‘Endeavour’. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video.
I think that its neat how they move the power lines and how slow they drive so the people can walk with it.
A very thoughtful comment Hayden. It would have been fun to walk along with the ‘Endeavour’ as it moved through the streets. I’m sure it took many hours of work by hundreds of people to get it safely to it’s new home.
I thought that was a really cool video. Is it at the museum now.
it was a interesting video mr. preshaw
I wonder how the rocket traveled along the road.
That was a big rocket ship
How does one truck pull that huge space shuttle to the museum?
I really liked that movie the pictures to. how did it get out of the garage at Cape Canaveral?
That’s a huge space ship. I wonder how many meters long it is?
That was pretty cool. That has to be a big hanger for the Endeaver to be inside. I wonder how long it took to get ready for the Endeaver to go along the streets?
I wonder how the rocket got past the power line?
How come people don’t let people go close to the space shuttle? I wonder how does one truck pull a huge space shuttle?
