On Monday, February 7th I’ll be sending home the Scholastic – February English Flyer with the students which is for all ages. This is another way to promote literacy in our classroom. Since the start of the pandemic, Scholastic has changed the way teachers, students, and schools order books. Instead of providing the teacher with a form and a cheque, parents are now being asked to create an account with Scholastic. The books you order will be sent directly to your home and teachers are no longer allowed to use cheques. When you place your order you enter a class code and the classroom teacher earns a few dollars of bonus coupons which are used in the classroom to purchase books for students to read and stickers for their weekly Spelling quizzes.
