On June 5, 2012 the Solar Dynamics Observatory ( NASA ) collected images of the rarest predictable solar event – the transit of Venus across the face of the sun. This event happens in pairs eight years apart that are separated from each other by 105 or 121 years. The last transit was in 2004 and the next will not happen until 2117. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate here in Western Canada and we were unable to see this celestial event.
Wow, isn’t that amazing how big the sun is compared to the planet Venus.
I really liked the video I wish I could have seen it.
That was cool! I wish I could see it again in 2117.
I really liked that video and I wish that we got to see the transit of Venus.
That was very cool Mr.Preshaw I liked it so much 😉
