In Art students painted a foamcore background and an old shoe that they had brought from home. We then added lots of recyclable materials. It was a fun project that allowed students to express themselves creatively and they also learned that Art can be made from materials that many people would consider to be no longer useful. Each shoe is unique in it’s own way. A special thanks to the adult helpers in the classroom for this project.
